Do You Know Where Your Meat Comes From?
I had the opportunity to visit Rockabilly Farm throughout the entirety of the 2021 spring semester. When I first arrived, I was not sure what I would photograph or what story I could tell. The more times I went back, however, the one thing that continually stood out to me was how much the owners, Deb and Annie, loved their farm and their animals. I asked them about how they could both raise their animals the way they do and also process them for meat, and the answer I received was so compelling that I knew that was what my project needed to be about. I enjoyed my time going to the farm and getting to know these two amazing people, and I hope that this project can give you a little peak into what it is like to be there yourself.
